  • + What Is A Showreel, And Why Do I Need One?
Alongside your headshot, your showreel is part of your own personal advertisement as an actor. It is your weapon to market yourself and talent to casting directors, agents and other industry professionals. A showreel is the perfect chance to demonstrate you as an actor and how you look on screen. Whether you are a new actor or veteran of the field it is always good to have a good quality showreel.
  • + What Happens Before Filming?
It starts with a free consultation. During which we will discuss your casting type, playing age, previous roles, your experience etc. If needed, taking an in depth look at your current material so we could help advise you on what type of scene we feel would work best for you to showcase your strengths. Our goal is to help you get in the room with industry professionals, so let's make it easy for those agents and casting directors that see hundreds of showreels and headshots that when they look at your material, you stand out!
  • + How Many Scenes Can Be Filmed In One Day?
We only shoot up to two scenes per day to ensure the highest quality.
  • + What Is The Call Time For Filming?
9:00am is the standard call time with the aim to have the first scene in production by 9:30am, unless we agree upon a different time beforehand. If you are more than 60 minutes late for the agreed call time, your filming slot will be considered cancelled, and your deposit will not be refunded.
  • + Can You Provide A Script For The Scene?
We are more than happy to write a bespoke scene tailored for you or we can use one you provide. Based upon your initial consultation we will craft a bespoke scene which we believe would suit you. An initial draft will be sent over to you for review, however the script will not be completely rewritten. An original bespoke script is £15.
  • + Can I Use My Own Script?
Yes, however there are some conditions when using your own script. If using your own script they must be copyright-free and sent over to us at least 7 days before filming for approval. Your script must not be longer than two pages and must include all relevant headings, scene directions and location. Scenes must be contained in one location and have only two actors. We reserve the right to refuse to film any script we deem offensive or inappropriate.
  • + How Long Are Scenes?
The final finished runtime depends entirely on the flow and pace of the scene, it will be carefully edited to follow an effective narrative based around the scene. Showreel scenes will either be monologues or duologues at two pages in length.
  • + Can We Provide Actors For You?
No, unfortunately we do not provide actors. Best thing we can recommend is asking actors you may know, a friend who may need a scene too and could help you split the cost or even post a casting call online. (Mandy is a useful site for this.)
  • + How Many Actors Can I Have In My Scene?
A maximum of 2 actors per scene, this includes you.
  • + Where Can We Film?
For Showreel Scenes we can only shoot in locations that we have free access to use. Usually this includes forests, public parks, outdoor urban/ suburban, countryside areas. If you have access and permission to a location we can use then great! Please consider this when writing your own scenes. We are happy to travel to you, but this will incur an extra cost into your final amount.
  • + Can We Provide Costume and Props?
No, you are responsible for providing your own costumes and props. (Weapons are not permitted)

We aim to have your scene/s completed within 14 working days after the filming date.
  • + Can You Edit Pre-Existing Footage?
Yes, we can. The ideal length for a showreel is around the 2:30 minute mark. We will edit your showreel to fit within this time frame, using the cuts and work that showcase you best. We can edit your scenes created by us into a brand new showreel, implement the new scenes into you current showreel or even just an edit of your current showreel. The great news is that wherever you are in the world we can do it, just send us the HD footage and we can get to work! Showreel Edit is priced at £30.

    We are sorry, but no.
  • + How Long Do You Keep Completed Scenes On File?
After we have confirmation you have received them, we only keep them on file for 30 days. All Raw/ Rushes will also be completely removed after 30 days.
  • + Can I Use My Scene As A Credit?
No. Showreel Scenes are not credits. They have been especially designed for the purpose of a showreel and not made by us with the intention that they are anything more. If we are approached by an industry professional who asks more about this production, then we shall explain the nature of it. False credits can damage your CV and professional credibility, leaving you to make a bad impression. Any claims a showreel scene comes from more than that, we will not approve it in any way and ask you or your representatives to remove the falsified credit. Our reasoning behind this is that as professional filmmakers when we create a 'Film' they are our full responsibility, we are putting in all the necessary resources such as: script, locations, wardrobe, casting, final edit and distribution. Whereas during the creation of a showreel, as our client you are the one in charge, so they are ultimately not a true reflection of our film production work.
